Meet Chad Lodge, an award-winning Canadian country singer-songwriter from Edmonton, Alberta, whose heartfelt storytelling and authentic sound are rooted deep in real life, resilience, and passion.
Chad’s journey with music began early, discovering his voice as a teenager before picking up his first guitar at 16. Entirely self-taught, he quickly found not just a love for playing—but a gift for songwriting.

His early years were shaped by performing in singing competitions and sharing stages with established Canadian artists like Aaron Goodvin and Colleen Rae, earning multiple first-place finishes and building a strong foundation as a live performer.
Over the years, Chad has taken the stage across Alberta, with standout performances at major events like Big Valley Jamboree and the Rainmaker Rodeo.

One of his most memorable milestones includes performing at the Winspear Centre alongside the Edmonton & District Pipe Band—an experience that showcased both his versatility and stage presence.

In 2010, Chad earned the Internet People’s Choice Award on Soulful Country Radio for his #1 single “How Do You Sleep At Night,” a powerful track written by acclaimed songwriters Jarry Sally and Jim McBride. The song gained international attention and even led to an interview overseas in Germany.

In 2017, Chad stepped away from music following the loss of his father—his biggest supporter and longtime bass player—to brain cancer. The time away marked a deeply personal chapter, but also laid the groundwork for a powerful return.

That return came in 2020, as Chad re-emerged with renewed purpose and a fresh wave of music. His comeback single, “We Got It Made,” climbed to #4 on the Canadian Indie Country Countdown, followed by “Home Again” in 2021, which went on to hit #1 on the same chart.

Continuing his upward momentum, Chad was awarded Best Male Country Single of the Year in 2024 by the International Singer-Songwriters Association (ISSA) for his track “On The Dance Floor.” In 2026, he remains a recognized force in the indie country scene with two additional ISSA nominations.

Today, Chad continues to write, record, and perform, bringing new music to fans while staying true to the roots that shaped him. Whether on stage solo or performing with his band Prairie Junction—featuring Allin Savard, Rob Savard, and Chris Beaton—Chad delivers a sound that blends traditional country soul with modern edge.

With a growing catalog, chart success, and a story that resonates, Chad Lodge is an artist whose music doesn’t just entertain—it connects.
