Born in Edmonton in 1966, Rob Savard discovered his passion for music later in his teenage years. After graduating high school in 1985 and landing a full-time job shortly after, he made one of the biggest purchases of his life in 1987 — his very first drum kit. In fact, Rob often jokes that he spent more money on his drums than he did on his first car.

Inspired by the powerful sound and energy of classic rock bands like Led Zeppelin, April Wine, and Triumph, Rob dedicated himself to learning the craft of drumming. Determined to improve his skills, he spent countless hours practicing and eventually attended music school to further develop his technique and musicianship.

By 1995, while working full-time, Rob set his sights on building a band of his own. Although the road proved challenging and success didn’t come easily, his passion for music never faded. For over a decade, he continued pursuing the dream, driven by a genuine love for performing and playing live music.

In 2016, following the passing of his father, Rob felt inspired to give music another serious shot — this time alongside his cousin Allin, whose talent and love for lead guitar perfectly complemented Rob’s drive behind the drums.

Everything changed in the summer of 2022 when they crossed paths with award-winning country singer-songwriter Chad Lodge. Drawn in by Chad’s original music, strong vocals, and acoustic style, Rob and Allin immediately connected with the sound and vision.
Today, Rob continues to do what he loves most — playing music with friends, entertaining crowds, and enjoying every moment on stage alongside Chad, Allin, and Chris.
